Tsubo massage is the stimulation in a certain order of the tsubo points. There are 365 Tsubo points in our body, strung along the 14 systems of meridians (12 basic systems and 2 systems of control).
These points are spread throughout the body and they are connected to our internal organs.

Normally, the energy of our body flows constantly through these points, balancing the body and providing necessary life force of its organs. If for some reasons this energy flow is blocked or slowed, there appear some health problems or diseases depending on the location of the blockage. Usually, when there is an energy blockage in a particular area, the cutaneous projection of these areas (corresponding to tsubo points) changes color, heat, electric charge or appear depigmentation, freckles or local pain. The circular pressure, constant and repeated at these points, helps the energy flow to take its normal course. In this way, by balancing body's energy we improve our health.
Tsubo points are located in critical anatomical areas: the muscle inserts, in the place where nerves exit from the muscle, in muscles, in the trunks of nerves or in the spaces between the skin folds. Tsubo points are points with small resistance, where the organic disorders produce powerful reflex actions.
Tsubo, like shiatsu, is a deep massage, with immediate effects, both physical and mental. If it's done in an appropriate place (a quiet office massage with optimum brightness and color) relaxes and energizes.

Traditional Thai massage has its roots in the time of Buddha.
This is a form of healing that is based on two main procedures: stimulation of certain nerves and pressure of the nerve centers, some ligaments and tendons, and a variety of movements that manipulate the body and its segments in order to unlock tension and neuromuscular centers energy.
The basis of Thai massage theory is the energy lines that cross the body. They say there are 72,000 such energetic lines and 10 are the most important. Stimulating these energy lines in a certain order and with certain procedures you can obtain a release of energy flow and it can move freely through the body.

In everyday life we accumulate tensions because of job, obligations or fatigue. These nervous tensions act automatically on the body. When we are anxious, tense or nervous, your body is on alert, preparing us for what is worse. The muscles are tense, the joints are fixed and the nervous system hypersensitive. But this permanent state of agitation and alert influences the entire neuromuscular and visceral structure. From simple local muscle contractions can lead to muscle contractures on large surfaces, in bone calcification, diseases of the digestive, circulatory or nervous system.
Thai massage technique shows knowledge of the inner movements of the body that was built on centuries of practice. The mechanical maneuvers, by touching and stimulating the energy centers and meridians of energy, the system reacts neuromuscular reflex, stimulating strong balance body functions.
Traditional Thai massage is applied on a mattress, on the floor and the client is fully dressed without having to use massage oil. There are used hands, feet, elbows, knees and even shoulders. The therapist in this process involves total harmony, the effect of this type of massage is unique, energizing and relaxant. Because of the stretching maneuvers, the muscles become more flexible, the joints increase their ranges of motion on all angles and some pressures on certain areas of the body have a positive influence on the functioning of internal organs.
Thai massage is increasingly appreciated as a method of providing a stress relief, relaxation and energizing.

Small history of Thai Massage
Geographically, Thailand is situated between India and China, its entire culture is influenced by these locations. As Buddhism has spread outside India also has spread the healing medicine. Thai massage has been passed through generations orally, with a unique style in every part of Thailand. Most ancient medical texts were destroyed along with the destruction of Ayutthaya by the Burmese in the 18th century. The remains were inscribed in stone on the walls of Wat Po Temple in Bangkok.
Today Wat Po Temple is a teaching center of Thai ancient massage. Thai massage has formed the basis of physical treatments. Now Thai massage is practiced not only in temples throughout Thailand but also in massage schools, hospitals, hotels, beach and every street corner where there is an enterprising Thai.
Some of these centers are not legitimate and many therapists have received minimal training. However, many centers remain in teaching Thai massage mastery. There is much to learn from practitioners of traditional Thai massage.
Thai massage has a strong spiritual connotation, therapist and his patient form a single energy body. However the process of releasing tension through various pressures and maneuvers of streatching determine the perfect environment to look within ourselves.
Thai massage is considered a pearl of the world with shiatsu massage, Tuina, Chinese massage and many other forms of energy massage.
