Trekking and Mountain Rules

First of all you need very good SHOES. If your shoes are not comfortable, waterproof, for 3 seasons and not too rigid, then you might have some difficulties in hiking or trekking.

Here I made a list of equipments that you might need in summer season if you travel with tent. In case you will not travel with tent then you will delete some articles from the list

1. Tent, sleeping bag, rucksack, boots, camping mat isoprene / mattress

2. Trousers for trekking - Long and Capri trousers with fast drying

3. T-shirts made from a special material that dries fast. Cotton is not so good because when you sweat it stays wet.

4. Jacket for rain and wind

5. Raincoats, it is recommended to buy raincoats that use a cord inside the hood

6. Polar blouse and pants very important they should not miss from your sac

7. Socks, at least 2 pairs to change

How to behave on mountains

1. Choose the route considering the physical preparation, psychic and technique of the most poorly equipped from the team

2. Equip yourself properly. (boots, raincoat, thick clothes, so on). Choose the necessary equipment, materials and food foreseeing the special situations that might appear.

3. Inform yourself about the chosen route

4. Inform the cabin where you are accommodated about your trip

5. Start the trip early in the morning

6. Distribute your force and respect the hygienic and nutrition rules in effort situations

7. Don't leave the marked path

8. Respect and keep the mountain clean. Don't leave your trash.

9. Be ready to give first aid to the tourists in danger

10. Alarm signal in mountains is 6 acoustic signals in a minute, one signal in 10 seconds, then 1 minute pause. The response signal consists in 3 signals per minute

11. It is not recommended to travel alone.

12. Don't consume alcohol; when climbing, the temperature, atmospheric pressure and heart beat modifies often, alcohol will make your body weak and hard to resist to effort

13. When you meet in your way other tourists ask or give information about the route, weather conditions etc

14. When you arrive to another cabin write your name in their register, it will help the salvamont to find you in case of accident or you get lost

15. Don't damage the marks, refugees,

16. Protect the mountain. Don't hurt animals and don't leave trash behind you

17. Follow the advices and instructions that you receive from chalet supervisor or mountain rescue service
